Job Summary: Your Role as a Talent Acquisition Specialist

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, and dedicated Recruiter to join our growing team. In this essential role, you will find and attract top caregiving talent. Specifically, you will build our team of compassionate professionals. Your expertise in identifying quality candidates is crucial. This means understanding both skills and character. You will assess cultural fit and commitment to care. Ultimately, this leads to stronger teams and better client outcomes. You will be central to building our caregiving family.

Key Responsibilities: What You Will Do

  • Talent Sourcing and Attraction: Actively source and attract qualified caregivers. Use multiple channels including job boards, social media, and referrals. Moreover, build a strong pipeline of potential candidates.
  • Screening and Interviewing: You will carefully screen applications and conduct thorough interviews. This means evaluating experience, skills, and character. Also, you will assess each candidate’s commitment to compassionate care.
  • Background Verification: You will manage comprehensive background checks efficiently. For instance, you will verify references and certifications. You will also ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Candidate Experience Management: Provide exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process. This means clear communication and timely feedback. Keep candidates informed and engaged.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Strictly follow all California hiring regulations. For example, maintain proper documentation and ensure equal opportunity practices. Keep up with employment law changes.
  • Onboarding Coordination: Carefully coordinate smooth onboarding processes. This covers orientation scheduling and document collection. It also includes training coordination and integration support.
  • Relationship Building: Actively build relationships with healthcare schools and training programs. Create partnerships for ongoing talent pipeline. Also, maintain networks within the caregiving community.
  • Data and Reporting: Track recruitment metrics and hiring success rates. Always improve recruitment strategies. Provide regular reports on hiring activities and outcomes.

Qualifications: What You Bring

  • Proven experience (3+ years preferred) in recruiting or talent acquisition. Preferably, this is within healthcare, home care, or related service industries.
  • You have excellent interviewing and assessment skills. You can also identify quality candidates quickly. This role requires strong judgment in a competitive market.
  • You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Also, strong relationship-building abilities are essential. You are professional, persuasive, and approachable.
  • You know recruiting software and applicant tracking systems well. Social media recruiting and job board management are also needed.
  • You can work independently and manage multiple priorities. And you meet deadlines consistently, even under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of California employment laws and hiring practices is a big plus.
